With reference to Foreign Office letter
No. F 6598/160/10 of 23rd October on the subject of the
alleged exportation of arms from the United Kingdom to China
via British Dominions and Colonies, I am directed by
Secretary Sir John Simon to transmit to you herewith a copy
of a despatch from His Majesty's Minister at Peking on the
matter, together with a draft of a reply which it is proposed
to return.
